Sierra, Arizona elopement officiant, walks after performing wedding ceremony in Payson

Hi, I'm Sierra

Growing up in a household surrounded by biologists, artists and musicians gifted me with an immense appreciation for all things natural, adventurous and a little offbeat. While I attended school for sustainability; life likes to send us down unexpected paths and I found myself working at a wedding venue in 2014. Two years later, I ventured out as an independent wedding planner. In over five years of working with couples to plan everything from the simplest of elopements to more elaborate events, I reaffirmed what I love most about weddings - it’s all about the love, baby!

Cake and flowers are fun, but the real heart of a wedding is the ceremony. With that in mind, I retired from planner life in 2021, put on my hiking boots and turned my focus to officiating elopements and intimate weddings full time.

When I’m not performing ceremonies by the Salt River or in the mountains of Payson, you’ll find me:

· Hanging out with my husband and adventure partner of the last 12 years, Brian

· Cuddling our fur babies, Rio and Loki

· Making travel plans (next stop: Denmark and the Faroe Islands)

· Buying another black t-shirt

· Mixing a cocktail - mezcal, anyone?

· Running out into the rain like only a desert dweller would do
